This blog is in honor of DJ AM. One of the greatest club/mix dj’s of our time. DJ AM was pioneer and his ability to control a crowd was one of one. From Dj’ing Hollywood nightclubs, to giving away amazing free mixes on the internet, to touring worldwide, Dj AM was without a doubt a great artist. He set the trend with the “eclectic” mix. AM’s style of blending hip hop, pop, rock, 80’s, funk, soul, breaks and more all in one set was groundbreaking and therefore imitated by dj’s all over the world. Dj AM will definitely be missed and hopefully his name will remain a legacy in the music industry. This blog serves as an honor to his music and features a collection of nearly all of his mixes. Most of the mixes are well over an hour and capture AM’s style of djing. Personally, I like to throw on an AM mix during a house party, as it always gets people up and animated. But, putting it on in the car and just cruising around works just as well.
